Patch Adams

I watched Patch Adams, starring Robin Williams on HBO last night. Boy, was it a skilful tearjerker. I think I cried at least 3 times throughout the whole movie. In my opinion, the movie deserves an outright 10 of 10.
The challenges that 'Patch' encountered are real challenges that many of us face today. Obstacles that are faced by people of ages ranging from 7-75. It has refreshed lessons of relentlessness to achieve your dreams and to be unafraid of being yourself no matter how the world may look at you. His story is such an inspiration.
This man was so motivated by his passion to improve the quality of life for the sick that nothing could hinder him from doing what he wanted to do. Even when his friends thought nothing of his dreams and trampled on his ideas, he still pushed on. He overcame all difficulties until he had achieved what he had set out to do. Who could have imagined that this man had admitted himself into a mental institute because he was suicidal before?
This is what I would call a real fighter.
