Can you spell faith?

"Were you good at spelling as a child? Even so, leukaemia, lymphoma, or heaven forbid, habdomyosarcoma would've been a challenge. Even if you were a spelling bee.
Now imagine having to learn new words not in a school, but in a hospital."
Now that caught my eye.
Talk about pulling your delicate heartstrings. These words drew pictures of poor little kids under the mercy of these dreadful illnesses. Drips that impede your freedom of movement and drugs that well, kept you drugged. I mean think about it. Spending your days breathing the putrid air of the hospital while you could well be out spending a lazy hot afternoon under the tropical sun? What kind of life would that be?
I'd prefer to believe God has His purpose for allowing these to happen to such innocent little souls. His perfect plan? It's hardest to trust that He knows what He's doing when your heart is well below the sea floor, yet so easy to forget when we're at the peak of this little emotion called happiness.
I often fail to see that He meant for me to be happy too.
Part of His well-crafted plan.
