Au Revoir...

It may be a little late to be doing this considering new year's has long passed, but what the heck. It's an appropriate time for yet another closing chapter and to start penning down the opening one.
I visited my old blog today. Looking through the year's events, I saw so many ups and downs, abundant joy and pain, anxious times and peaceful ones. So today, I'm honouring a few people and events that have highlighted 2005 for me. The numbers are inconsistent because there's no fixed number as to how much you or the things that have happened have changed me (for the better).
People of 2005:
1. Joann - I think our relationship has reached a deeper level. We couldn't have done it if not for our perseverance and honesty. I've never been so excited about any relationship this year. In 2006, I pray our friendship will bloom and flourish with abundant love and faith in each other. Love you to bits!
2. Hilary - Thank you. For being that nicely wrapped present and exceeding my expectations after 'opening' you up. My growth can very much be accounted for by you. :) We've had some down sides this year, but it's through these times that I've learned the potential of our friendship.
3. Jacqueline - Ahh. Jac. I won't hesitate to say this again. I don't know if my holidays would have been so exciting if it weren't for you. Nor would I know how lame things can get. You've brought so much laughter into my life. Thank you for being that someone I can complain to about a crappy day or just being able to be mad around. My wish for us is that we'll get to know each other on an even deeper level and that you can always count on me. Cheers!
4. Benedict - Ben ben. You've truly been an amazing friend. Thank you for sharing so much of your life with me. I'm grateful that we've been through a few memorable experiences that have proven our ability to be there for one another. 2005 wouldn't have been the same without you. Thanks a mill!
5. Addison - Addison! You're one of the most expressive friends I know. (that's a good thing btw.) Ever since I got to know you, it's been so much fun! You're one of the few that I can have meaningful conversations with (not that talking crap is a bad thing) and when I talk sense, you can relate with me on a similar level. I'll make it my prayer in 2006 that opening up will be a vice-versa affair and that we'll always be able to rely on one another. :)
6. Yvonne - My ever dearest. Gosh. What can I say? You're truly amazing. Your smses still never fail to melt my heart and brighten up my day. 2005 for me was a breakthrough year for our friendship. I've been able to be more open with you and I hope you have been too. In so many ways, this special bond that we have has given me so much warmth and joy. I sincerely hope that we wouldn't stop working on our relationship with each other and take our friendship to greater heights. :)
7. Michelle - I think in 2005, I started to know you better through working with you. The past year, I've seen what a hardworking and sensible girl God has made out of you. The warm fuzzy that you wrote to me really touched me and I really want you to be part of my shadow too, to be with you through everything. I really look forward to having a great 2006 with you dear!
