Talking about facing fears, I faced one very big fear just a few days back.
Sushi.
I'd been so put off by it about a year ago when I went for a sushi buffet with Ben before he went in to the army. When Jo asked, my initial reaction was that of my stomach doing a somersault upon hearing the word and my oesophagus ready to regurgitate whatever I'd eaten for dinner.
Ok, maybe not.
But it's not a far cry from what really happened. Since it was a season of facing fears, I thought, what the heck, it's been a year since it has entered my anti-sushi system, what's the worse that could happen?
Nothing worse did happen but I think I'm going to be 'abstaining' from sushi for yet another year. I think I might throw up if you mention sushi again. Haha.
Spot Jo!
See? Even Jo and Jac are on the verge of puking.
On Saturday, there was Amazing Hike. I had a loadful of fun. Being out in the great outdoors with a noisy bunch of wonderful friends is really lovely. Even if that meant climbing a freaking hill till you almost tear a muscle and realising how super unfit you are. It's time to get off my butt and do some serious exercise balls. See lah Mols! Having classes on Saturdays suck!
Mango Tong! That's Mangosteen and Jelutong group combined. Ha...
The down side of being as short as Cheryl. Only your eyes get captured in the shot. Heh.
I had so much fun the past 4 days. I'm all rested for another gruelling week...
