I've always been one to stick to the safe side and relying on those grandma traditions that work, but are uber duber cliche. However, I think I'm contracting some courage germs from all that external influence.

It all started out with Prayer Rally preparations. Seeing how the committee has come this far, through the many many obstacles that had impeded the path and still managing to come out of it even stronger really makes my heart smile. Great job guys, I know it's gonna be the most happening event ever!

Then I saw High School Musical on Disney Channel. If I ever had the chance, I think I'd work for Disney. They are a company that believes so strongly in the potential of young people and work to inspire the youths of this generation to keep their dreams alive and to be brave enough to go after them. Even the most absurd of dreams. And me? At the not so young teenage age of 17 (still 17, mind you) felt this surge of superwoman energy that I could do anything. What a powerful feeling it is. (aside from being able to be in town on weekdays) I think it's high time I leave those traditions to rot and decompose...

To end off the entry, I found some lyrics that suit this season of dreams perfectly. It describes very accurately of how I imagine MPM will be like in the week leading up to Prayer Rally 2006.
