A glimpse into my intimate horizons...

No Questions Asked
Monday, May 14, 2007
What could go wrong went wrong that fateful Wednesday evening. Plans for YEG seemed to be screwing up in every aspect possible. My thumping heart and distressed mind made my palms sweaty and body quake. As I walked hastily to church with a trunkful of things on my mind, I spoke.
And He answered.
Immediately a passage was revealed to me. Luke 18:1-8. The parable of the widow and the judge. The essence of His message was at the end of the story. He says, 'Now, will God not judge in favour of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them? I tell you, he will judge in their favour and do it quickly. But will the Son of Man find faith on earth when He comes?'
In other words, He simply asked for my faith. He didn't need anything else, just for me to believe. And so I did. And, needless to say, at that meeting, every single problem had been resolved.
On top of that, He sent Paul with donuts from Donut Factory. I was really touched by the gesture and it totally made my day. :) Plus, Joel gave me a back massage to ease the tension on my back because of my heavy bag. He's shown me through them that He's rooting for me and that He loves me.
