Undeniably Godsent

I'm running out of things to say in my log book for my attachment, simply because I'm practically doing the same thing every single day. The only thing that really changes is the numbers that I dial and the people I speak to. I must have spoken to at least 500 people by now. Of which 90% hate me.
If you don't already know, I'm doing a telemarketing job for my internship. Sadly, it is true that people hate us. I can't count the number of people that hung up on me, shouted at me or were just plain rude. Then again, I thank God for those that are patient, helpful and cheerful. (We should have more of such people around.)
What troubles me everyday is what I have to pen down in my log book about the tasks I've completed, the challenges faced and the things I have learnt. As I sit at my workstation at 5pm everyday, I have to confront again the same old problem, what can I write in this book today? Can I say I learnt that investment companies like to have lots (and I do mean lots) of the number 8 in their telephone numbers? Or that I faced the challenge of understanding an Indian receptionist? Or shall I say that I acquired the skill of being able to dial numbers without looking at the keypad?
I've made calls from stamping technology companies to BTMNCs (big time MNCs). Once, I even called a hair salon and a library. So you really wouldn't blame me for harbouring nervousness everytime I start to dial unknown numbers. It's a challenge I have to overcome every morning before work.
Yet, it comforts me to know that He's constantly with me, affirming me of His presence through all the nastiness and the monotony. He sends people like Colin, Joel and Cass who work around the area. I always look forward to our lunches together. In that small space of an hour, it's enough time for me to rant and be me.
He sent a new addition to that list of people today. Denise, my secondary school friend is a stone's throw away from my office. Had we not had a 'chance' (I believe it wasn't really by chance) meeting, I wouldn't have known that she's working in the vicinity.
He sends songs that make me happy when I visit the toilet. There was one time when I went to the toilet to try and pass a little bit of time and heard 'Me Love' by Sean Kingston. It immediately reminded me of Melvyn, Kevin, Tim and I singing that song in the car at the top of our voices because we went crazy.
He sends Francis, whom I might add, never fails to make me laugh, who will come and MSN me out of the blue to talk to me about any random thing possible. He painted away my Monday blues today. :)
He sends SMSes from people I love, like Hil and Jo, who tell me that they're praying for me and that they love me. These are always an affirmation of His love.
He also sends Mom, who knows I'm always hungry after work and who'll always call to ask where and what I want to eat. I'm so thankful for her. :)
Thank you God. See me through the next 7 and a half weeks.
